Tyre wear like fuel consumption is very subjective. I need to replace the front tyres on my 159 at around 16k miles. The mileage that I have achieved might well be different to the next 159 owner. Make of tyres, driving habits, driving style and regular journey type all play a part. My 16K is as a result of hard acceleration out of roundabouts, a twisty regular commute on RainSport 2 tyres. Someone who accelerates quite gently, does most of their miles up and down a motorway and drives on Michelins (for example) may well get much better miles. I'd love to see a database, but all governing factors need to be considered to make the data of any value.
Someone said to me, "so whats so special about an Alfa Romeo then?" I told him, "If you have to ask, you wont understand".
