WBAC are offering £2850 on my 159 and £1100 on my 307
Probably about right for trade-ins on both, but I know neither would get that much from them, despite the 159 being almost immaculate (IMO, of course!) they'd pick at the fecked alloys and moan about the remap & stainless zorst saying they don't add value and 91k miles. I'd expect £2500.
The 307, a 1.6 HDi 110 estate (not SW) has 141k miles on a 56 plate and is also (IMO) mint, there is a teeny dent around the drivers door handle (looks like someone slammed it a bit hard) and the mrs lost a fight with the garden border on the drive, so the front bumper now needs painting, though tbf, I wanted to do it anyway; the millions of stonechips are doing my nut in
I'd expect them to offer £800.
That said, my Land Rover was up for months for sale at a giveaway price and all I got was timewasters coming round and pointing out the 1 tiny dent and a bit of corrosion. The car was 19 years old ffs!!! And bloody clean for a Discovery of that age.
Mate of mine sold his Leon FR to them, dealers offered him £6000 in p/x against a new one, WBAC paid him £6400 after offering £6750, he was very happy with the Bodelwyddan branch, so it's swings and roundabouts.
However, they have offered me for my 1997 R reg MR-2 GT T-bar non turbo Rev 4 with 96k in really show winning condition, I shouldn't use it on the road, but meh...
