Climate Control Temp Sensors
2006 159 2.4...
After 102k mlies, my CC is now misbehaving...
I have it permenantly on Full Auto, it has always worked perfectly, but now to a point it cannot "sense" the temp I have set.
Starting in the morning, outside temp 12 to 18 degC, all good set to 19 degC 30 miles to work occasional tweak up in temp maybe to 21 degC.
Leaving for home recent OS temp 23 to 30 degC, CC set to 19 degC, after 8 miles I have to increse the CC temp to 25>28deg C to stop the icey cold blast from the CC, only then will it calm down and give me a reasonable cabin temp approx 20>22 degC, it seems to want to go much lower.
Never had this before August this year, something is not right, I gather there are internal and external temp sensors, extnl seems correct with the one a work when I leave, and also correct in the morning, so my conclusion is the internal temp sensors are at fault, anyone any ideas?
