159 Noisy gearstick knob!

Hi - I have a 2008 159 and love it. However recenty the gear stick knob has started to make a noise, I can now press it down so it clicks everytime I change gear... Anyone get this? Has the recent heat melted glue? is it screwed in from underneath? Any help appreciated before I take it apart.

It has probably just come loose - prise the gear change indicator out of the top of it and you will get access to the bolt underneath and tighten it.

Same here, tightened it and added some Loctite to stop it happening again!

You don't really need any thread lock, just twist anti clockwise and hold while you tighten it up.

This removes the play and it stays tight, if you have thread lock that fine but for those who don't.
