Brera Dust caps

my tires were looking a little low in pressure so after a wash I thought I would check the tire pressure, but 3 of the Brass looking dust caps wont unscrew!

Any idea's on how to unscrew them, I tried a bit of WD40, and a pair of pliers but don't want to damaged the rubber tire valve neck

My dad had this on this Jag, he had cheap metal dust caps which the corrosion had essentially welded them on, had to have the whole valve replaced at a tyre place. Not expensive but just a ball ache.
