159 ti 2.0 Jtdm dreaded check engine light
It's with great sadness but we're going to part with our lovely black 159 2.0 Jtdm Ti as the missus is only working 5 miles away and the car doesn't even get warmed up now, but it's got the check engine light on, and I refuse to sell it knowing that there's a fault on it. I took it to Lyles in Newcastle and had the faults read (intermittant lambda) then cleared, and it was fine for a week.... then back it came. It's been re checked and all is ok (dpf, egr etc. according to Ian at Lyles) apart from P1131 Upstream Lambda (plausible). I don't mind replacing the sensor (I presume it's the 'top' one just below the turbo) but I don't want to change it if there's something else causing it. I cleaned the MAP sensor (was disgusting) and the car still runs great, so... do you think it's just a duff O2 sensor? All suggestions welcomed.
