Needed to change 1 of my Brera's front fog light bulbs as had blown. Manual says it is a dealer job. Don't believe a word of it. Took me about 40 mins to do both sides. 25 mins for the first one & 15 for other side once i knew what i was doing.
You will need a flat thin knife,a torch, 3 flat head screwdivers (2 large, 1 small) & a phillips screwdriver.
To get at the foglight you have to remove the plastic fascia that surrounds it. The fascia has 4 plastic retainging lugs attached to it. 3 at the top, 1 at the bottom. Start by inserting the flat knife at the top about a couple of inches from one side, between the plastic & the bodywork. Ease the knife down to make enough room to get the small flat screwdriver in. Once that is in have a look in with the torch & you should be able to see the first plastic lug. You can the use the larger flat screwdriver to ease the plastic lug from its place on the bodywork. Leave this screwdriver in then move to nearer the middle & repeat for the second lug. Once you have freed 2 of the top lugs, you should be able to ease the plastic out a little, but be careful. Once you have done the third top lug ease the plastic out a little more.
There is only 1 lug at the bottom below the round foglight. Repeat as before and it should pop out.
The lamp is simply held in by 2 or 3 self tapping screws. Undo these and the rest is simple. The lamp comes out easily. It has a push on connector on the back, so can be easily changed. If you are simply changing the bulb, the back of the lamp screws off and the bulb is held in with a spring clip. Remember to wear gloves as touching the bulb with your skin can damage it. I als put a bit of waxoil in the recess as the mesh grill was a bit rusty. I have attached some photos to show where the plastic lugs are
Hope this is useful to someone.
