Cheers all, Yes Midlands Car Care did it for me, Russ is a really good guy, very passionate and an absolute perfectionist. The cost was £250, which was worth every penny, and the photos dont do it justice. Anyone thinking about getting it done should go for it.
Paint before had was quite bad, alot of swirls and a few RDS, the before and after 50/50 shots can be seen on the Midlands Car Care facebook page. Now the paint work is like glass.
The wheels are finished in 'anthracite' by the alloy wheel specialists in Manchester.
Maintenance will be the 2 bucket method. Firstly pressure wash off as much loose dirt as possible. Then snow foam and let it dwell. Wash the snow foam off and pressure wash again. Then using 2 buckets, one with shampoo and one with just water I will wash each panel, washing my wash mitt (NOT A SPONGE) in the clean water to get any dirt off before putting it back into my shampoo bucket. Then after doing the whole car rinse down again, as it is waxed the water will sheet off so minimal drying is needed, but where it is needed I will use a plush drying towel (NOT A CHAMOIS) and use the pat dry method, patting not rubbing to get as much of the water off. Dont wash in direct sun. Use a good quality wax safe car shampoo. My method might be a bit 'excessive' but I like my car clean, plus I enjoy cleaning it.
As regards to the products they used, I am not sure, they use lots of different products for each section of the clean, I know it has no fillers or polish on it, just Auto Finesse Desire wax. In fact I rate the whole Auto Finesse range.
Again I cannot recommend Russ enough, give him a call if anyone is thinking about getting their car done, Because mine is the cleanest in my town now and I constantly get stopped at petrol stations and by neighbours!
