I blanked the EGR and ran it at operating temperature, should that have cured the rough idle it was EGR at fault?
Do all the sensors kick in at 80? Or are some working from cold? If I know which ones kick in at that temperature.
I've disconnected MAF at operating temperature and that made no difference so is it safe to assume I can rule that one out?
EGR was blanked at operating temperature with no effect, so can I rule that one out also?
How can I test the MAP sensor?
I'm guessing that the coolant temp sensor is a red herring. If it is reporting the temp at near enough 80 as the sensors go into closed loop then that's working?
If I run ECUScan tonight what parameters should I be checking to check sensors?
- Desired Intake Air Quantity, Intake Air Quantity and Air Temp (MAF?)
- Air Temp (Boost/Manifold) , Air Temp Signal, Boost Pressure, Desired Boost Pressure Boost Pressure Signal (MAP?)
- EGR Valve opening and EGR Control (EGR)
- Lambda Sensor Signal and Lambda Oxygen Concentration (o2)
Are they anymore I should check?
I really feel like taking a branch to the 159 like Basil Fawlty.
