159 2.4 bluw smoke

I am getting a small blast of blue smoke when I start the car in the morning, not noticed at any other time. Would this be normal?
Whoops just seen the title of this thread....apologies for typo

blue smoke tends to mean burning oil - are you letting the turbo cool down for a few seconds before shutting her off when you arrive at destination, only takes 20-30 seconds for things to cool but if you arrive and don't let it cool your bearings will wear a bit faster.

Blue smoke tends to mean oil burning - so just keep an eye on your oil levels see if you can work out if you are burning or leaking any or not.

A little bit is okay - diesel is fuel oil anyway, so it could just be a lil bit of that burning off on start up or it could be things like turbo bearings starting to leak or valve stem seals dripping a lil bit of oil into the pots overnight.

Just keep an eye on consumption and listen for additional turbo noises / rattles. If really worried (which for a small amount of smoke I wouldnt be) check the shaft in the turbo for play - only do this when the engine is properly properly cold, like been sat overnight, otherwise you'll melt your hand!

Probably best bet for now is just to keep an eye on your oil usage and report back over the next 1,000 miles or something how much you use and if this is increasing or not
