159 Difficult First Gear

Hi guys,

I know the gearchange is typically 'notchy' on these cars but is it normal to have a very difficult to engage first gear?

It does improve a little when warmed up, but from cold there are times when it just won't enagage. I have to put it in neutral re-depress the clutch and try again, even then it doesn't engage smoothly, more a two-stage action!

Car is still under warranty, is it worth trying to get it sorted by alfa?
