First post, sorry it's a not more positive.
I've been having some issues with my 07 Brera (2.2 petrol).
First up is the rear parking sensors. A few weeks ago an error message came up saying; "Parking Assistance Unavailable". This has come and gone but it seems to be a permanent problem now. Checked for dirt around the back sensors and can find nothing of note. Very irritating, is there any way of disabling the sensors altogether to save that infernal beeping?
Next up, the boot. The key will no longer operate the boot and even the arm rest switch needs the car to be switched on (I have to switch on the ignition, close the doors, manually lock the doors, manually unlock the doors and then the boot switch will work - sometimes!). I know of the indep menu setting but that's not helping the issue with my key fob.
I had to install a new battery last week and this might have something to do with the boot issues? Also since the new battery my wing mirrors no longer automatically retract when I lock the car. Not a big issue, but frustrating all the same.
Is there some sort of factory reset that I can perform following the fitting of a new battery? If there is, how do you do it and is it likely to fix one/two/all of my problems?
Sorry for the list of questions and queries, I appreciate any advice I can be offered.
I guess it's a small price to pay for driving the sexiest car on the road
