The original question was about fitting Brembo calipers from a Brembo'd 159 onto a 159 with the Ate single piston front brakes, the reply was that you also need the Brembo'd cars uprights etc.
But now Wrich01 has mentioned that the Brembo calipers from the v6 166 will bolt directly onto the standard uprights of a none brembo'd 159 but with the standard size discs, 305mm there is a slight overhang of the pads, approx 2.5mm.
So my later post was that I am planning on doing this conversion to my none Brembo'd 159 and to get around the slight problem of the disc over hang as I need new discs any way I have ordered a set of 330mm 159 discs and am going to have them machined down to 310mm OD.
The only other issue I could for see is if the standard flexi pipe will fit into the new caliper and where abouts on the caliper it fits so would it be long enough.
I think I can get it all fitted including refurbing the calipers for about £200
