I think you may have posted the on pic twice.
Interesting approach. Any close up pics of the install and how it works?
I think the latest effort on the halos will be a pretty easy fit as they come installed in a new headlight. Of course they won't be cheap.
Glad to hear you got a Brera. Sounds a nice one the grey is a good colour that seems sturdier and doesn't need washing as much! I would have like red leather. Are you pleased with it?
Any plans for it? lowering? dpf removal/remap? new wheels? It never stops..
I have fixed the error in the urls. One pic is with the lights on, and the other with the lights off.
I have taken it in to Laurence at AutoLusso in Ferndown. They replaced the EGR valve. Really pleased with it. It drives superbly, though it needs a lot more power, and could be lowered I think. It is sitting a little high. Definately planning to change the wheels, though the rims on it had been refurbed by the dealer, so they are in mint condition, and they are one of the better designs too. The airflow readings are excellent, suggesting the inlet manifold is clear, which is a good start. So, remap is the first on the list of mods.
I also want to paint the calipers red too. AutoLusso charge £400 to do all four.
I have followed the HALO DRL thread, and I have to say, at first I thought, they looked superb, but, whilst I have not actually seen a car with the conversion, I wonder if it looks just a bit predicatable, and blingly. I plan to fit 10mm high brightness LEDs as accents to the existing headlights. The cost is about £3 per LED. So this conversion is easy to do, and does not compromise the existing headlamps. My car is fitted with BiXenon headlamps, so I understand it might not be an easy upgrade on my car anyway.
The plan is to fit these to the bottom right of each headlamp. If you look at each headlamp, you will see a neat little gap, perfect to take a discreet LED. Simply drill the black plastic headlamp surround and fit each of the small LED lamps. I am going to buy one from a breaker first, rather than carve up my original ones.
I am hoping to have them done in time for Beaulieu. I will post some pics with a break down of how they are connected.
How is your new 2.2 S compared to your diesel Brera? Do you think you will keep it, or swap back to a diesel version again?
