Engine on vacation
Yesterday, i went for a 30 mile drive, pushing the car a bit too hard: accelerations from 40 mph to 70 mph, testing the turbo and the response of the engine.
To my surprise, at the end of the drive, when I was back to "normal" driving (i.e. 6th gear and 60mph), I pushed i little bit the engine again, but this time received no response.
The rpm indicator didn't move even when my foot was down in the accelerator. I then tried to accelerate with the clutch down, but the rpms didn't get higher than 3,000.
I was starting to panic and just when I was about to leave the highway the engine woke up again and everything back to normal.
Its a BRERA 2.4JTDM (210hp), EGR has recently been replaced.
¿Could it be a defense after so many accelerations? ¿Perhaps injectors?
