Faulty MAF?

Hi, decided to unplug my MAF, Due to low mpg and no power under 2000rpm.
Surprisingly managing now 35 MPG instead of 29. And driving hard 33 MPG instead of 27/8.
I havent felt any difference in how she runs, just mpg.
So next up - maf and map clean, and search for new maf.

Lack of power under 2k, more likely the EGR, but the MAF often goes around the same time
