Roof re-alignment

Hi All,

My spider rood has started catching on the roll hoops when I put it down and sometimes coming up with the 'Temporary Roof Failure' message.

I've seen loads of threads before about dealers 're-aligning' the rood under warranty but does anyone know how much it costs to have this done if the warranty has expired? And does it actually do anything to help? Also is it the sort of thing an independent garage would do? My nearest specialists are either Alfa Aid in Maidenhead or AHM in Hartley Witney.

Thanks in advance

255 + VAT = 306 at a main dealer. That was supposedly for 2 hours labour to re-align/re-calibrate. How long it actually took them is anyone's guess.
I'd love to know if there's a Spider owner out there who's never had a problem with their roof.
In my experience you need to budget 300-400 every year for 'repairs', along with the ever-present squeaky-bum time as you open and close the damn thing .
