Fault finding heated seats Alfa 159
Hello to one and all,
Can anyone give me some detailed advice how to fault find front heated seats on my Alfa 159 Sportswagon.
Basically neither heated seat really works although the back part of the passenger seat does get mildly warm if left on long enough.
So far I have checked fuses F57 & F67 and both are in tact and there's a 12 volt feed running through the pins on the fuse box.
Next I've checked the seat switches. Both switches has a 5 pin connector which has a 12 volt current running through two pairs of the pin.
Lastly I've unplugged what I believe to be the connector under the seat. A black plug with three wires. I cannot find any current running through either connector nor do I get any reading for continuity?
Had the passenger seat not been heating up I'd make an assumption the seats we're not receiving power but now I'm starting to wonder what I'm doing wrong.
Is there anyone out there that can give some advice with part number, photos or expected results when testing the various components?
Thank you in advance
