Viewed three petrol Brera's today. All on the trader.
Here is my (unqualified) opinion:
Red Brera 2.2 S - PR05 MEO
NO SUNROOF, but facelift interior.
Front and back bumpers had been painted (badly), flaking paint in places, both front wheels needed to be refurbished, with the n/s badly kurb damaged. Possibly too bad to refurb.
Under the bonnet was really really oily and dirty too.
At least the dealer said it was the 'cheapest in the country'.
Finally, the rest of the paint was really chipped too. So an all over respray would be the right thing to do.
Silver Brera 2.2
It had just arrived, with a lowish mileage. I will put a link up when it goes on the Trader.
However, this one had been painted really badly on front bumper, wings and rear bumper. All different shades and silver paint all over the black plastic.
There was a visible 5mm, yes 5mm overspray over the light surrounds. Unbelievable.
It had 18" clover leaf rims in jet black.
Very untidy and poorly repaired. So, I won't be buying that one.
Silver Brera 3.2 Q4 - RF06 BZK
In just 33,000 miles, this one had really bad paintwork. Resprayed in places, and with poor repairs on the stone chipped sills.
Generally, really poor.
I wonder if the seller copied and pasted the wording from a previous advert...
NO PREVIOUS PAINTWORK
NOT SMOKED IN WHEELS NOT DAMAGED FINE EXAMPLE OF THIS ITALIAN SPORTS CAR, THIS WILL SUIT FUSSY BUYERS ONLY
I might try and rename this thread as 'Buy a Brera and 'Stop Cruelty' to Brera's.
So, I am still looking for a Brera.
Might have to go to Beaulieu in my wifes Honda CRV.
