Ahhh cool! She was badly in need of a wash so not looking her best, but I had to do a double take myself, as our cars are so rare up here. 😄

Saw a black 159 (estate?) in Leamington, gave the raised fingers salute (not 'that' one!), and got a v positive wave back

MiTo & Spider LE

I think I may have got a thumbs up from a 159 (or Brera?) in stromboli grey coming the opposite way driving through Armthorpe on the way home today in my Spider. I smiled and thumbs up back which hopefully got seen. I was more surprised than anything as that's the first time while driving at least that another Alfa Romeo may have acknowledged me while driving. Finally saw another Spider last Sunday when at work, the place at the end must have been having some work done or something, anyway there it was to my massive surprise a Black one. So in the space of just under 2 years, apart from my own Spider that's a grand total of...2! I've seen more Ferrari's in that time round here!

Yes, they're very rare beasts which makes them even more special.
In the five years that I've had mine I'm still not in double figures for seeing others.
There's been so few sightings that I can very clearly remember every one!

Oh yeah it is definitely a good feeling. Out of the three I see mostly 159's, there's a few Brera's about but not too many. Speaking of which when going round to Bawtry to my chill spot there was a red Brera there, in fact it has been there a few times in the same place so beginning to think they work there, who knows maybe even in the restaurant I go in. It's not far away from Northern Alfa, wouldn't surprise me at all if they go there for their work/servicing needs.

Still wouldn't mind a Brera at some point, but I don't think I could swap my Spider round for it. Who knows I might get in a position to get one as well at some point, but I also understand no guarantees there.

I wouldn't swap mine for a Brera either.
Bought the Spider because I preferred the shape to the Brera, never had a convertible before and probably never will again!
If they'd made the Brera with the same profile I'd have bought one.
I have always fancied a late GT Cloverleaf in Atlantico Blue, that would look good next to the Spider!

Brera 3.2

Spotted

Hi, I am new here and live in Christchurch, Dorset.
I have just brought a 56 plate Brera 3.2 manual Q4 in red.
Almost every day I see a beautiful metallic blue spider, cheers me up no end !
Also in Southbourne a dark grey Brera, usually gives me a wave.
What a cheery bunch.

Black 159 followed me north on A34 and west on A303, then cheery wave from passenger as they came past.

Rather frustrating to have so many drivers in outside lane at 65mph, to overtake the (slightly) slower car sometime in the next 5 miles.

It'll be no one on here, but, spotted a pristine 159 in black driving through Hua Hin (about 200 miles Sth of Bangkok)Thailand yesterday am around 10. Had absolutely no idea Alfas were sold here. Will look for more in Bangkok in a few days.

Followed a red Brera S100 SEY down the A6 and out towards Glasson Dock. Brera looked sweet, they look great all mucky, but that was no weather for Alfas! Way too high a water level for my liking, especially at Thurnham Mill restaurant at Glasson Dock.

It was 159 city in my village yesterday. I saw a black and a silver saloon and a dark silver? (Its was dusk and the colour didn't stand out) SW.

Was in my mini so didn't wave, as I found out the other day Alfa drivers look at you oddly when I forget I'm not in my Giulietta and wave at a G on the M18!

Happy New Year to you all

Brera 2.2 JTS SV

Red Spider spotted on A50 then A500 round Stoke-on-Trent on Mon 28th Dec. I followed for a few miles then ended up in front - nice to see that nose in my rear view mirror until a grotty old Astra squeezed in between us.

There appears to be a fellow Alfa owner on my road (finally) - a black Brera in the Sth Wimbledon area...

Also, even though it doesn't belong here, there's a 4C owner at my office down at Sky HQ - that car looks sexy!!
