Hi JamesL. Luckily/unluckily, whichever way you take it.....I live in the village. If you consider the Farm shop to be detrimental to your bank balance, then don't try the Pub/restaurants on site !!!!

I've been before - it definitely IS detrimental to my bank balance.

There is a thread in the meets forum - think its normally at a pub near Oxford, although I haven't been to one myself yet.

Lovely 159 s/w ti (reg d14?) in white with silver roof rails, on the M6 between j21a and j21 this morning (wed 9th sept) about 8.40am. Exchange of flashes and a wave to each other as I turned off at j21.

I've had some right miserable gits lately so nice to see a civilised fellow Alfisti.

Really nice car btw (I was in the Stromboli 159)

Ha Ha, I was out on my bike the other day and waved to a blue Brera (on Wigan Road near Abram, NW) coming the other way - I forgot I wasn't in my car. The bloke looked most confused!!

I passed a Silver 159 (TI I think) on the small roundabout in Armthorpe, Doncaster. The guy was looking at me in my black one ( just managed a smile as I realised). I was in a post work haze

I think I'm reporting my own car being spotted - as I was sat at a set of traffic lights yesterday outside Reading train station, a gentleman crossing the road called out to me (I had my window down) and said 'I hope that's the V6!'. A quick thumbs up and a rev of the engine put a small on his face as he rushed for his train!

159, Brera & 946 spotted Thread

What I can only describe as a sort of champagne(?) metallic 159 saloon, 2.4 Lusso (reg -pwf), heading north a34 -> m40 this afternoon, was in a silver giulietta,

Any spelling/ grammatical errors are purely there to annoy!

159 Saloon, Black. Spotted on London Rd Wheatley heading downhill, just outside the Dr's. 09:40 this morning. Didn't acknowledge as was in wifes' Sirocco and would've been confusing !

A Blue 159 Wagon on the M11 yesterday morning - at the front of the queue that we measured at 9 miles and growing....

If it was someone on here what was the cause? It didn't look too serious but the M11 was still shut 4 hours later

Pretty sure that was to do with the Airshow going on at Duxford to commemorate the Battle of Britains 75th anniversary.

Investigated and found out it was actually 2 separate incidents. The one I passed @ about 11am was relatively minor (still caused a 9 mile queue), but there was a serious incident involving a motorcyclist around 2pm

Ahh I hope the motorcyclist is okay. I use the M11 every weekend and it's always quiet, to be fair though I only do the short stretch from the A14 to the Duxford/ Royston turn off.

Seen the same red 159 on the A4074, heading from Reading towards Oxford, both this morning and yesterday morning.

Got a wave both times... who is it?!

I was at Veloces on Saturday morning (19/9) in the 159 SW and another red one pulled into their car park, family of 4 on board. I spoke to the owner/driver and I said 'good choice of car' as it was outwardly identical to mine (although a bit older and diesel).

He agreed, obviously, but said he was there to change it for a newer giulietta.

Anyone on here?

Tho he probably wont see this if he's now got a giulietta....
