I know that pub, only ever been in once though! I used to live up the road in Leyland.
Unfortunately I don't know the Brera. Love that colour though .

Shiny silver (?) 159 SW on the M1, and a stunning red 946 Spider too, then I was briefly followed by a lovely black 159 SW in Hebden Bridge this afternoon - if you're on here, sorry I didn't see you in time to let you out (I was in the red Giuli)!

Misano blue Brera and then a black 159sw, Ti I think, both in Shotton north wales. Waved at both, a quick recognition nod from the Brera, nothing from the 159

The other chap was referring to the 75 as being a white elephant, quite a fitting discription of that Alfa i would of thought. Can't dispose of it (love it to much), & for what it cost in maintence also out ways it's use & value

Perhaps 75s are now, like most cars of that era, but back in the day they were good cars.
Very nearly bought a limited edition one myself but I certainly wouldn't be running it now more than 20 years on if I had .
Great cars for people who are good doing their own maintenance .

Put a smile on my face seeing it anyway ... Reminded me of all I saw in Rome back in 1990 ... The Carabinieri get to drive all the best cars

Black(?) 1.9 159 in Mansfield this morning, with one of its rear tail lights out. I think it had horseshoe alloys.

159

Reading this thread only reinforces my doubts about the amount of 159's with the same colour as mine: rubino rosso. It really is a beautiful colour that changes depending on the light and time of the day, but somehow I very rarely see another one on the road.

In almost 2 years of ownership, and 40'000 kms across several trips through Switzerland/Spain/Italy/France/Germany/Austria/Denmark/Sweden/Finland, I have only seen two other 159's with the same colour, one in Vienna and one in Zürich.

Out of curiosity, anyone else on here driving a rubino rosso?

Thanks guys, I really couldn't agree more. When I was looking for a car, I was considering a Giulietta and didn't really have the 159 in mind but when I saw this particular individual for sale I simply couldn't resist taking it out for a drive and then I was sold

If I ever have to replace it, I'd really love to have a 946 Spider in the same colour but it seems like a very, very hard task...

Not sure about the 159, but with the Spider that colour was dropped for 2008, so only ever available on the first cars. Very rare.
Would look great with a cream leather interior but not sure if that was an option (it wasn't on the Spider).

That's exactly what I have. Tan/light interior (not leather) and it's a real beauty inside but it takes a little bit of effort to keep it clean. I need to keep a small towel in the boot for whenever I'm driving with jeans as it would dye the seat.

But as with everything with alfa that takes a little effort, totally worth it!

Yesterday I drove from Aston Clinton via the A41 to M40 up to the M42 , M6 and around to TELFORD without seeing a single 159 to wave at. All the modern Alfa's never wave anyway. Bought a 1972 GTV 2lt / GTAm replica without the extra bhp and correct wheels -- nice though. Three brothers and each had Alfa's plus the one I bought.

Not sure what it is, but Leamington seems to now be 159/ Brera central, a black Brera S (with dark horseshoe alloys) and a silver 159 sportwagon with horseshoe alloys today!
