Advice on flaking paint
My 2006 Brera has started flaking a bit of paint on the sill. Generally the paintwork is pretty good (bar the usual dreaded stone chips on the front), and it's silver so doesn't have the issue some red cars have.
But I have noticed that the paint has flaked a little in two spots on the sill on the drivers door, small areas with the larger one probably approx. 3cm x 6cm. It's where the paintwork is bumpier/textured. It does get washed at a hand car wash sometimes, and seems to have happened since the last one. Surprising, as they are very good, but with a jet wash it can happen I presume.
Any thoughts on the best approach? Friends have used dent/paintwork repair companies with success on general paintwork issues, but it would be good to get advice from anyone who has a similar problem with the Brera.
