I drive a 147 TS and a 2 litre TS Gtv most of the time but every time I get into my 2.4 I am pleasantly surprised at how much better built it is and how well it eats motorway miles with no drama. I love the TS but for a long journey the 159 is a MUCH better car.

The 159 is a very grown up car the TS is more of a hooligan. Having driven a G a number of times I wouldn't consider getting one as replacement for any of my cars. I really hope Alfa get the Giulia right as the current range just doesn't do it for me

The 159 is a gem, even if it has a reputation of being too heavy. Love it

Heavy's fine as long as they perform and still handle well. I must admit that when I bought mine last year , I was a little surprised at it's weight which is virtually identical to the big Jaguar V6 diesel XF. Having travelled in a Jag this last week to Abbeville and back , I prefer my 159ti .

Had mine over a week now. Still spend ages standing in the living room window just gazing at it, or finding spurious reasons to go tinker with it. Absolutely love it to drive, and it eats miles smoothly and eagerly on motorways, and turns heads as you pass other cars. As much as I love the ride and handling, its obviously designed for somewhere with nicer road surfaces than the bots of north and west Yorkshire I usually have to drive in! I live in fear of the water filled pothole!

I know the feeling! If I really had to buy a new car, I would buy the 159 again!
Afraid of the replacement since the new quattroporte looks too german to be honest
