159 2.4 JTDm Electronic key/Ignition Device
Just bought a 159 from a Jag Garage so it's no good me asking them this question.
With the paperwork, manual etc there is a yellow lamanated card with the following message,
"IMPORTANT After moving the car or switching the instrument panel on, take the electronic key out of the relevant device on the dashboard & stow in the oddment compartment on the tunnel consul"
I have looked in the owners manual & can find no information on this. If I take the key out everything appears to work as normal, I assume that if I stall the engine ( I did this once I think that it was back in 1973!! ) I will have to find, & re-insert the key to re-start the car.
Does anyone know what this is all about?
Throw only toilet paper at the W.C. anything other may cause a breakage to the engine. Grazie (Roma 1990)
