Regarding the "notchy gear changes"
- get the best possible fully synthetic you can find for Gearbox, and the other two boxes (Transfer and Rear Diff)
- and really clean and then almost drown the cable ends in WD40.
It makes a difference. And replace every two years.
My 159 V6 uses about 1 litre of oil per 10k.
It should not really use any but at 105k miles I imagine some wear somewhere.
Proper 4 wheel alignment sorts out tyre wear
- I have done about 10k on Goodyear EfficientGrip with about twice legal limit left -wear is even.
