No of course not. My diesel was a lovely car to drive it just ate up long journeys and my S is fantastic to throw around corners and have a bit of fun with. But, for me, the looks/rarity of it overcome any other questions.
Looks are in the eye of the beholder too, the Giulietta is nothing more than OK looking in my mind and I know many Brera/159 owners don't know where to go once their car is past it's sell by date as non of the other Alfas excite them (4C is in a different class of affordability and has no back seats).
I just got a newer Brera and am pleased it still looks fresh at 6 years old, is rare and does attract attention.
You are of course in the 159/Brera lounge, so you are going to find a little bias!
