I wish i did coxy but I couldn't afford the extra cost.
Does he do just the remap? Just plug in and write a new map???
The way Gus has looked after me is unreal. He remapped my car with the DPF/EGR removal and then helped me to sort out any further issues I had with the intake manifold, mine was buggered which needed changing so tweaked the map untill I got around to changing it, going out with me in the car and fine tuning the map real time untill I was happy.
Having then changed the intake manifold myself and doing the RS500 intercooler / WM mod ( Clogz and jbsmith1 style ) I took it back for him to re tweak the map to suit the above mods and after the car maintenance of which the results are out standing. I also had one of his exhausts too as a finishing touch. Ohhh the sound
I had already had the car remapped by a local firm but was not happy with the results. Yes it may cost a tad more but its so worth the money and not to mention the customer service. The difference between the old map and the new one is night and day. Even before I did all the big mods, the power delivery is so smooth and linear which helps the longevity of all the drive train components is outstanding.
Now having got the car sorted and running right plus doing all the mods on top its unreall. You would no belive how it goes and OMG does it go, But treated nice still returns very high 48+ mpg on a run, in fact it showed 50.2 mpg on the run home down the M6.
So in short is the Alfatune remap worth the money. OH HELL YES !, plus he don't make a bad cup of coffee either.
Heres hoping that the Cosford meet has a place to run the cars and I'll happily show you how good it is.
