Thanks everyone for your advice and sympathy
I went to pick up the car today and they telling me the engine cuts out which I don’t believe since engine was absolutely fine , keep in mind its only done 26995 miles but unfortunately out of warranty, the only thing was that battery was flat , I picked up the car today believe or not with flat battery which means the car still won’t start and I had to use recovery service; since they were asking me to pay additional £99 + vat for further investigation as they put it (which I didn’t want to pay since I already paid for tests) , which make you wonder what was the diagnostics for initially?! Anyhow cut the story short I made complain to Alfa itself (which they were very helpful) and they looking in to it and asked me to take it to Alfa or fiat specialist! i still can’t believe i paid all that money
that’s what is written on my receipt:
Request a attend to non start, warning massage on dash
Attend to non start, warning massage on dash, carry out system checks, founf fault to glow plugs, possible may need a glow plug control unit so requires further testings. Replaced all 5 glow plugs and retest, engine now starts but cuts out, requires further test, customer declines futher work.
That’s after I paid £ 597.36
I would appreciate if anyone can tell me or knows about honest Alfa specialist in south London
