159TI in the snow with Snowsox

Just fitted my snow sox and had a little drive up a few hills and back ( I live down a steep .3 of a mile farm road).

Not easy to get them over the 19" wheel ( I put them on in the car port) but they did their job on the snow covered road.

Took about 5 mins to fit each side but as you can't use them on tarmac, taking them off at the roadside and refitting them later will be a pain.

Need to put a tarp or sack in the car to kneel on!

Just got them from Asda last year but one of the few makes who seemed to do a 19" version

Yeh, I gave up on driving this morning, in the Cotswolds, had not been gritted yet and was all over the place. Seems vehicles with less 'low profile' tyres were having a far easier time of it!

They're great for getting you out when you're stuck, but they are a pain in the arse to get on/off. Not to mention you have to put them in the boot sopping wet.
