Jumping Temp Gauge
Hello all. I've just noticed the temp gauge has started doing something odd. Before it would rise steadily, whilst driving, to 90 degrees, whilst idling it just sat at whatever temp the engine had reached.
Now it's got a nervous tick, it follows more or less the same path it did, but it jumps around by about three-five degrees sometimes up sometimes down, in quick little movements. Even when the engine is good and hot and reading 90 it will still kick around. It 'looks'electrical, as I struggle to beleive the water temp can alter that fast.
Is it wired direct to the temp sensor or does it go via the ECU?
Car also has a stuttering throttle at low revs, feels like it's on mild kangaroo juice when you're trying to drive at a steady 25 in traffic @1900rpm ish. Related? It's been doing this way longer than the gauge has been playing up though.
