New Software updated on my 159

Hi Guys

just wondering if this is normal or what, recently i took my car in for a full service at the southgate Alfa Romeo dealership. Overall they were good and they did say that my software on my car was out of date and will install the new version of the car's software.

Im not sure what this software does but i have noticed some changes,

1) Accelerations is much quicker (although this could be due to ew filter and oil)

2) Turbo lag has worsen, before the update going up hill in third gear wouldnt be an issue but now there is a lag, it starts kicking in at around 30mph. so now i have to stay in a lower gear more longer.

3) This has only once happend, when in a multicar pack i had no power going up the ramp (engine was on). i had to roll the car down and then it was fine..

4) Before i was getting around 42-52 mpg from my weekly drive from Derby to London at average speed 80-90mph. Now after the new software 33-40mpg, but i think this could be wrong as i got around 800miles in 1 tank!!!

Im not sure whats happened..

im going to take the car back to southgate when next in london.

Take it back, hopefully they can reverse it. They should always keep your original software backed up.
