Clutch slip - and I have searched!! :-)
I've trawled around here to see if there are others with the same issue and it seems that it is a known issue
My 2.4Ti has clutch slip occasionally, flowing a remap and DPF removal. I was advised to "use the gearbox" given the extra torques, however my question is this?
Is this due to tired clutch feeling the strain (55k miles) or is it potentially DMF as eluded to on other posts? I only get slip at around 2-4k rpm in 3rd/4th/5th and not all the time
I get a judder at (ahem) 100mph+ (on a private road) but have also read this is common and more wheels than DMF - which I would expect to judder at a certain RPM not MPH
Happy to get a performance replacement clutch, but any additional experiences or suggestions would e welcomed.
Thanks for reading!
