A different remap issue!
I have had my 2.4 jtdm remapped for over a year; the recommended "F1 map" , dpf removed and EGR coded out. To further ensure no dirty gas gets near the inlet there is a blanking plate fitted to the EGR valve as well.
However, is it the case that because absolutely no exhaust gas is intended to flow back in the inlet manifold through the gas water heat exchanger will the car take significantly longer to warm up? In the recent cold weather I can drive for 10 mins and the temperature needle only just lifts off the stop.
Anyone else experience this? is it normal (for a post remap car?).
