3 year warranty - what is covered?
Three weeks ago I bought a 2 year old spider from a big Jaguar dealership. It has the following problems, would they be covered under the three year warranty or would it be the dealer's responsibility?
a. The fuel filler flap is very stiff to open, feels like it needs lubrication. Opening the first inch or so to get your fingers underneath is OK, but opening it fully is the problem.
b. The sump guard is very low and scrapes the road on minor speed bumps and uneven road surfaces.
c. The driver’s seat doesn’t flip forward – the handle at the shoulder is very stiff.
d. The passenger side roll hoop trim has been torn off by the hood.
e. When I close the boot lid, a rubber hose with wires inside gets trapped between the boot lid and car body just behind the passenger area. I need to take a photo of this to describe properly. I have to push it down with my fingers while closing the boot lid – and not trap my fingers!
Any help / advice / sympathy gratefully received!
