Rear Door interior weatherproofing
Ok....this weekend, would seem to prove that the interior weatherproofing seals, on the rear doors have shot it.
I don't mean the rubber strips, that make the door waterproof, i'm assuming that behind the plastic fascia, there is a sheet of polythene, that keeps water on the outside of the door as it trickles down the outside of the window pane and into the door...
I don't believe mine, does this, and the water is then making it's way out, at the bottom of the plastic panel, over the top of the sills, and into the rear foot well.
I've looked at the e-learn, at rear door disassembly, but god does it seem confusing, and it seems that I have to remove the window mech, to get into the door...
Any tips, suggestions or guides would be welcome...even confirming that the polythene sheet is in the door for a kick off, would be handy!
