I really want to ditch my iPhone 4 and get a Galaxy S3, but want to retain the same functionality I have with an iPhone and B&M. As you all probably know using B&M with the iPhone adapter gives you any applications sound output through the car, with a great mute feature when using sat nav apps and directions are spoken.
B&M with an Android only gives me access to music stored on the device and phone integration so I loose this turn by turn sat nav integration. As far as I can tell, the only way I will get this from an Android device is by using A2DP Bluetooth audio streaming, which the B&M does not support.
I therefore need to add A2DP to my system which I can only do by replacing the B&M module or the whole headunit.
The Denison Gateway Pro
is a perfect candidate as its only £150 and does everything B&M did + A2DP. Question is, has anyone fitten one of these or have experience of wether it works with the 939 Headunit?
According to Denison's own compatibility checker, the 939 only supports the Lite or the Lite BT, but I am hoping someone might have some real world experience of this.
Right now, my iPhone 4 is killing me and I need a decent phone, but dont want to have to get an iPhone 5 just because of the car integration.
