Is the petrol cap really fiddly to secure?
I've had one fill-up of my Spider so far and found that the petrol cap (the bit you twist on and off and not the external flap) is quite fiddly to secure after filling up.
Is there a technique to it? I really don't know whether or not i've secured my petrol cap properly. On all of the other cars i've had there is a definite positive action when twisting the petrol cap shut - you can feel the seal being made and then you tighten it for a further 2-3 clicks.
With the Spider petrol cap I don't get this feeling of a seal being made even though I get to the clicks. There's also some vertical movement of 2-3mm after i've clicked it but it does seem to be securely held from a twisting point of view.
Could any Spider/Brera owners comments on the petrol cap please? I need to make sure I am securing it correctly!
