Regards folding seats, they were standard on the TI spec and optional elsewhere IIRC. Seems daft that they aren't standard on the SW on all specs. Maybe someone else can correct me on this.
Engine-wise, the 159 is a LOT heavier than the 156, so expect more consumption than you'd hope for regardless of the engine.
For petrols, the TBi is the best all-rounder, and is the engine the 159 should really have been launched with. Still not likely to regularly crack 30mpg though.
For diesels, the 2.4 (especially remapped) has heaps of grunt, and is a good A-road/motorway bruiser. 1.9 and 2.0 much more economical. Take your pick.
