...and if there is not unit error - if the radio was changed to a different model etc, the way to fix it is to use PROXY Alignment in AlfaOBD (and a similar routine exists in FES)
I had it because of a faulty Blue&Me, which I subsequently removed. Then I used the software to reconfigure the car not to look for the Blue&Me.
If yoiu don't do a proxy alignment nothing happens, you just have a flashing odometer. It might be a telltale to any potential buyers though.
Best bet is to connect it to AlfaOBD. If you don't have it try posting a forum message for people in your area who may have it and want to help, and see what the error code is, which in turn will tell you which unit is problematic
