I recently bought an AR 159 1.9 JTDM and I can't seem to get this problem solved. I hear an annoying clunking noise (rear side), but just on certain
uneven road surfaces, meaning that if the road surface is a pretty damaged one
, then everything it's OK (i can't here any strange sounds). But if the road has only slight bump
s (like those "reduce the speed" rubbery white lines, or roads like in this link - Old Gray Granite Stone Road Background Stock Photo 37385470 : Shutterstock
), then I certainly can hear this clunking sound.
1. I went to a mechanic and told me to replace both back anti-roll ties. I had this operation done, with no results; the sound is still there.
2. I did a little experiment: With the left side of the car on damaged road and the right side on good road, the sound is there. Then I turned the car and did the same, but this time with the right side on damaged road and the left side on good road. The sound IS STILL there.
So this means that the sound is not coming from a certain side of the car... I think the problem is with a part that has to do with both sides of the car.
THANK YOU in advance!
