Chipped Brera SV

No, not a thread on remapping

Just wondered if anyone had experiences repairing chips in their glass roof? I noticed a small chip on the front nearside corner and am keen to get this resolved before winter with the potential for frezzing and cracking.

I know autoglass repair chips (thanks to their near continous bloody advertising - I suppose it worked!) but wondered if the insurance would cover this as a windscreen repair or such like?
