How much over are we talking?,possibility still there for boost solenoid issue.
Ie if sticky/ vent blocked, it gets signal to drop boost but if no leaks present turbo actuator to boost valve, then it may not be able to bleed the vac in the line holding vnt at fast spool position.
If only 100mbar probably alright.
A quick log of des boost, act boost and vnt% would help, stick in 4th around 2000rpm and do a few hard accelerations foot to floor( only for a couple of seconds to3000 revs)and then take foot off gas, and let revs drop and repeat.
Should be a nice saw tooth graph, as revs rise, boost should rise and vnt should mirror boost(inverse)as boost at highest vnt lowest and when gas pedal released boost should drop pretty quick and vnt go back up.
Always handy to have some logs for reference in future.(if you do any logs worth doing some maf airflow, act boost, revs, as this may help in future if you suspect any boost leaks ir maf/map sensor issues.
Glad your sorted anyway.
