I'm assuming if the EGR valve has been replaced along with cambelts and water pump, that surely a mechanic at a good Alfa Indy would clean the inlet manifold manifold if it needed cleaning? It would be a bit pointless to replace a clogged up EGR without cleaning the inlet, easy job to do at the same time right?
I have some Wynns EGR3 cleaner which I was going to use while the manifold is in situ, but looking at Pete's guide, I shouldn't need to use it, because it ought to be clean. Any way I can move things just enough to have a peak inside the inlet without taking all the stuff Pete took off?
