I feel sorry for you Guys, you're clearly big Alfa fans and for there not be any new models fitting the bill it must be gutting to have to let go one of the most beautiful cars around. I respect Alfas decision to delay the Guilia launch until they've got it right, but it has to be right for the length of the wait and also to entice Alfa owners like you Guys who've had to go elsewhere.
The problem will be if they get it so right that everyone starts buying them and we get an Audi effect. I want Alfa to be just successful enough that they stay a viable option for Fiat.
I seem to remember this situation a few years ago when they brought the GT out to fill the gap before the 159. Maybe they should quickly knock out a Merc CLS/Audi A5/BMW 6 series coupe style thing- bigger rear passenger room than a Brera but sleeker than a 159.
Fortunately I'm in the position where I'm looking forward to this time next year when I can buy a late TI Sportwagon.
