How much are you paying? They charge stupid money around here...

Went out with a bottle of water and a cloth to take care of the bird strikes since we've been away on holiday. Not too bad. Ended up wiping down the whole car - all that polishing and waxing has paid off - really easy to wipe clean.

The holiday? 25-29 C in Madrid for five days. Not a cloud in sight, unless it was puffy and white. Shirt sleeve weather at 3 am. Lovely.

We arrived home, the bus stopped short of our stop and we walked a quarter mile home in the rain. Welcome home!

Was woken up by the missus @ 0600 asking why all the windows on the 159 were open? [panic]

Realised I must have pocket pressed the open button and held it down long enough to open *everything*.

Been like that since 23:00 ish from the night before on the drive.

Luckily - No Rain, Nothing stolen, No alarm triggering..

I am amazed too, but the missus now has formal confirmation I'm a tw4t.

Note to self:
1.Check car before bedtime.
2.Time to get some less tight fitting jeans.
3.Re-enable the loud beep from the car on open/closing? - Nah...!

Ya just hold the open button long enough they all go down! Annoying they then don't all go up when you lock it like our Mito does

It looks beautiful. They are one of the best looking cars ever. I don't think we got any diesel versions in Australia, otherwise I might have considered buying one. I do love my GT 3.2 though.

As it was a nice afternoon and had subcontracted the grass cutting decided to clean the throttle valve

Blanked of the egr a few weeks ago but didn't have time to do it then and had been meaning to do it

Took some photos of how it looked when I removed it

1400428872634.jpg

Didn't take photos of how it looked afterwards as my hands were to manky to hold my phone

Not to bad a job took about 45 minutes to do. I found it easier to remove the battery as was paranoid about dropping stuff but you probably don't have to

She seems happier afterwards and the grumbles when first starting seems to have gone but will see properly see over the next few days

Just cause it smokes doesn't mean its broke
*Unless the smoking is due to a breakage, then it does

And afterwards still had time to sort something had been pondering about

Have been putting mine and my daughters bike's in the boot a lot recently and been worried about scratching the bumper

Introducing the mk1 bumper lip protector

Or as it's more commonly known a bath mat with two key rings forced through and then attached to the boot fixing points

So, after a week or so with new uniroyal rainsport 3's on the front...the handling, the cornering, the feeling, the god awful wallowing; its been so bad. So put the p zero nero GT's from the back to the fnt...and hey presto! Weird! Flumexed.
