Not just today - over the last week have done 500 miles going up to and around Scotland ( western isles and argyll) enjoying real driving roads and getting the old girl filthy in the process. And saw a nob in a scooby WRT fly off the road into a rocky ditch. He was not hurt - but his car was trashed!

650 + vat and fitting. I know...a touch extravagant but the car looks great. No more tinkering for me until it's out of warranty and that's 2 years away. I can't put too much on these rails due to non- factory fit. Does anyone know of a company that do sucker based roof storage boxes? I have heard Thule might?

Cheers!
Iain

Fitted a 55w 6000k HID kit for the dipped beam and some 8 LED bulbs for the side light. The kit was the cheap one which a few other forum members have fitted.

They look fine.

I did quite a lot of research before taking plunge. If you go for 55w as opposed to 35w then the research that I did tended to say you lose a bit of colour so quite a few people were saying go for 5000k with 35w and 6000k with the 55w kit.

I went for the 55w kit because the original bulbs are 55w and you didn't need any canbus adapters to prevent warnings on the dash.

I went for a HID kit and LED sidelights that a few other people on the forum had used without any issues.

Curbed my alloy . Spoke to a colleage, they knew exactly where without describing, so obviously a common location to damage your car!

Took mine for a 72000 mile service and got cambelt and waterpump changed. Used my local indie northants alfa for the first time and was most impressed by service and cost they also lent me an old school 156 for the day. Thoroughly recommend them. And now hope for another four years worth of driving before the next cambelt change or the new guila arrives.

Getting Mentalised that tomorrow i will burn another 200€ or so in maintenance expenses! Selenia, as well as proper steering fluid along whit brake fluid to and refrigeration system liquid swap! And a thorough check up on the under side of the beast! Mofokin cops got me into a B type compulsory inspection and detected minimal oily leaks on secondary joints! along whit the protection tray having a gigantic slash in it and half of its bolts snapped or MIA! gotta have it ready for counter-inpection in 3 working days or else i'll have to pay all the expenses. Oh, i love my 159!!!

Well, it got aproved whit flying colors, and the 90 bucks fine got refunded at me. not bad, still, had to lose 2 working days to answer a cops caprice! the car looked tunned to him and he suspected it to be remaped and egr/dpf deleted! WOW! Washed, cleaned it and refuelled on the way back home. The mechanic even got it a k&n performance air filter for the price of a regular one!!!
