Went on the rollers (last night) 254 bhp, 430 ib/ft so happy, especially as std cars were making book figures.

Ordered a new battery finally , got fed up with all the strange unsolicited warnings on the dash and finally found a new sun visor !

several jobs for the weekend along with the parking sensor holder to glue back on. !

The postman delivered the rear wiper blade refill that I ordered from eBay. Unfortunately, the wiper blade on the car is 14" and the refill kit is 24" long? Apparently, I'm meant to cut the blade down to size myself. We'll see...

Abandoned the Angel map and had Adie AHM do it again -- brilliant ! It passed the smoke test easily even with quite a high performance map and having the egr blocking plate in. With my previous map I'd have had to remove the plate plus dongle for MOT then re-fit afterwards. MPG appears to be up but haven't yet brim to brim checked it.

Stopped off at Coxy's on the way to a client for some emergency "bumper of action" courtesy of a loose connector on one of the Halo's grrr, should have doubled checked it before i fitted it last!

It was an F1 style pit stop with the bumper off and headlight out in less than 15 minutes and all back together again in about 30-40 minutes...

...then we stopped for coffee an chatted so the F1 style pit stop ended

Cheers Coxy, you're a life saver!

They're great fun I've had it 5 years, which is a long time for me. It's been to a few AutoItalia shows and the Isle of Man with my son and I, where it was quite happy being spanked along the TT circuit. Think we hit 110 down towards Creg-Ny-Baa. Brakes got upgraded the following month

10 am: Washed Brera, t-cut a couple spots, detailer spray - then it got too hot to continue.

4 pm: I went out to apply a coat of wax.

I was astonished to find a fine coating of brown dust all over the car. I park on a dead end road, but near a busy bus route. You don't see the dust in the air, but I sure saw it layered on the car! It worried me a bit to think I'm breathing that in every day.

Anyway, dusted the car and applied a coat of wax. Beautiful! Um, until it rains again. Um, tomorrow. Sheesh...

My wife was watching the evening news/weather report: she says the dust coating on my car was dust from the Sahara mixed with local polution. Well, that's okay, then...

Yeah mine's covered in the same dust too, noticed it when I jacked the rear up trying to find out where the knocking noise is coming from. Felt sure it was a broken spring but it appears not, the search goes on.

Fitted a new power steering reservoir today as she was groaning and blowing bubbles, anyways when the old tank was off there was a rattle from it, I was relieved it was the easy fix....

Bought the tank from The Alfa Workshop, specialist Alfa Romeo garage and web site arrived by post fairly quick

Last night there was a light rain. Today, every car in the neighbourhood (and I'm guessing in Wales and Leicestershire, too) looks like this:
