Driven rather quickly from home to Sutton Coldfield, then to Solihull & back to SC again.

Weather was truly atrocious. Couldn't think of a better car to do that journey in in such conditions.

Great fun on the heads of the valley's roads. 22mpg though

As a Sutton resident I am incandescent with rage to think that you were driving "rather quickly" around the royal boroughs roads............thats my job.........

And the heads of the valleys road, do you remember back in the 90s what that used to be like! Such a dangerous road. So many accidents and deaths, so glad they built the new road, its a great sweeping stretch of tarmac now.

I'm a very good boy in built up areas

HoV used to be nuts. Still challenging mind you.

Currently on Jockey Road. Car is parked down the side road by Jockey News (if you want to wash it for me )

Heading over to Dentcraft Sheldon in a bit then up to York for an AROC Board meeting

Blimey! Boldmere Brera massive eh?!

I used to live round the corner from there, just of Boldmere Road.

Shame I'm over in Tyseley at work! Enjoy the sunny Midlands.

Brera 2.2 SV "S"

Swapped my power steering fluid from red to green GI/R after some "clunks" at full lock in the cold.

Many thanks to doogie for his guide, I've flushed it out and topped it up but the green stuff is still murky so I'm going to let it run for a few days and then flush again with more green.

Any recommendations for some PAS cleaner I can chuck it before I flush it again?

Cheers,
Matt

Checkedout all the online info for headlight upgrade bulbs , very nearly bought daylighters / extreme -------------- however , read a measured test on loads and although the two I just mentioned were reeally good , the test showed that Halfords ultra uprated 120's bulbs matched them . So just fitted a pair of dipped beam . Hardly ever use main beams so only the dipped for now. I'll see whether they were talking crap once I've been out at night

LOL. I know the feeling. My 4.2 litre V8-engined recent car got better fuel economy than my 2.2 JTS Spider! I love the Spider though, despite her prolific thirst.

Checked why the drivers door didn't appear flush and found two of the three bolts holding in the door locking mechanism missing!
The last one was very loose so tightened it up and robbed one from a rear passenger door then checked the rest.
Anyone got any spare door locking mechanism bolts??

Got hit by a stone in the morning, new small crack on windscreen, then wouldn't start this evening, froze waiting for. RAC, then had it towed to Alfaworkshop. Worries me no one leaves anything outside, hope it's in one piece in the morning!
