I'll certainly have a good look Jay but being a total ' non electronics ' sort of chap , probably won't attempt it , sounds all too tricky for me

I found another broken foglight so now I need to get 2, seriously thinking about covering them with protection film, possibly a cheeky bit of tint... That and getting a set of HID H1s for them too.

Glued various bits of foam to the underside of the engine cover, suspect that's where my annoying rattle at. Around 1,000rpm comes from, doesn't seem to have achieved its aim though.

I had a look at that a while back and wrapped the parts up ( no silicon mind). Sounds like a largish piece rattling about (lower resonance than the engine)

Very nice, I have MTEC fronts, got rears being delivered tomorrow. I had them on my 197 Clio and they are brilliant.

They produce a very cool whoooshing sounds as your brake. Easier to hear with the roof down though!

The motor has finally back from my insurance and all repaired

Wife has taken some pics to show me as at work when it arrived… Something doesn't look right to me but has anyone on here got a white alfa 159 as I'm sure the white bit behind the grill should be black??

I mentioned the PIAA silicone wipers last week, and was not sure how good they were. I think I'm sure now, they're great with one caveat..the fixing onto the wiper arm is a bit bulky compared to the original.

The problem I had on first fitting (onto a clean and properly prepared screen) was the silicone coating that the wiper lays down leaves a faint blue haze which looked awful from inside with the sun shining. This disappears with a bit of proper use in the rain. Lovely slippy and clean screen now!

Looks stunning !

I agree the bumper support brace has always be painted black on any car I have seen, no matter what the colour. Plus the bits around he lights are normally black plastic.

Burned a diesel tank from brim to "Limited Range" warning message! 1141 Kms/708 miles driven.Goes for 6.1 l/100kms or 46 mpg, dont remember to ever get that sort of fuel efficiency!
Lots of errands to run today, mostly on motorway. Dam, do i like to drive this car in this kind of semi-relaxed driving style!

Decided to put a resistor on the RH LED sidelight which occasionally gave a canbus error.
Aargh! LED ended up in the lamp housing. Tried various methods to retrieve, eventually blu-tack on a bendy piece of metal got it out of the housing and it then dropped into the void behind the housing! I think it's gone forever.
Ordered more LEDs off ebay... :-(

Brera 2.2 SV "S"

Booked her in with Duncan Slade of Alfa Net in Bristol to get my stretched timing chain replaced (boo!) and get my S springs and dampers fitted (yay!).

Can't wait to drive her out of there.

I guess the "white bit" should be black, alright, but whilst I was waxing my Brera today, I noticed that there is a fine mesh black screen behind the grill as well. I wonder if they left a part out?

Puncture on the rear passenger side. Just waiting for the Alfa Connect AA people to help me put the spare on. The rears were only replaced at the start of last summer.
